Insect Haven

sorry I have been a bit quiet for the last couple of days but I'm suffering still. Today I made myself get up & go out come what may.

So today I went to Ragpits in search of butterflies & boy did I find them. There were lots today - so many Marbled Whites, Skippers & Peacocks. It was just amazing. I took about 150 shots here. Trouble is its not the ideal landscape for my current condition. Because it is old Chalk Workings there are lots of dips & hillocks - still I managed. From here I went to Asda to pick up some salad stuff which we are devouring at a rate of knots...I will need to rest up this afternoon whilst C is out and about doing her chores.

Muggy to start then when I got in at about 1330 we had a rain shower.

Thanks for the hearts & stars for my picture of Zak Henry yesterday & I will try to catch up with you later.
