Smoke from the water

We had spent the night just before the stretch of road that goes through the Hardangervidda plateau and in the morning had enjoyed the scenery as we drove over the Hardangervidda. It’s big sky country and the views were good. However as you leave the plateau to descend to the Eidfjord arm of the Hardangerfjord there is a major gorge of the Bjoreia river. The main blip shows the view down Måbødalen from the Fossli Hotel, with mist caused by the spray of the  waterfall, Vøringfossen seen in the first extra. The other extra is lichen on the Hardangervidda plateau. As on previous days the weather was variable with sunshine and showers.
