Island boy

My cousins owned the property across the road from my grandparents. They have also passed away and my sister now owns the property. I was cutting the grass in my grandparents field today and noticed a pileated woodpecker over there. When I approached I noticed this buck hiding in the neighbors tall grass and junk filled yard. The closer I got I started to see deer moving through the weeds, must have been a bachelor group roaming in there all in velvet! Beautiful sight.
Happy to report we are getting some much needed rain!
