Famous Pound Cake

Spent the day with the folks today. My father had skin cancer removed from his arm. The procedure takes almost 4 hours. We went to lunch afterward and then shopping and home.Made for about an eight hour day. When we got home my mother offered me a nice size piece of homemade pound cake she had made the day before. I have to admit it was delish and she is quite famous for the sweet treat! Still going strong at almost 89!
