Riding the Marches

Today I was honoured to take part in the Musselburgh Riding of the Marches Turf Cutting Procession. So many sights and sounds and thrills but I wasn't in a position to take many photos. This, however, was my lovely steed, Betty, just before I got on. She was an absolute star and looked after me very well while we rode alongside hundreds of other horses for about three hours. A pretty girl and a little darling, and an evening never to forget.
