Party in the Park

Today was Party in the Park day for residents of the Winchester area of Stanmore.  In addition to the singing, police cars, fire engine, food stalls, music and dancing, the new skate park was officially opened, with great enthusiasm, so I thought I'd go along and practise high-speed shooting.  There were informal competitions for skateboard, BMX and scooter (do I have the terminology right here?).  There's a picture of each - this one here and 2 others in Extras and I've tried to be good and not identify any of the young competitors.

Apart from that a lovely lazy Saturday reading the paper, drinking coffee and generally chilling out in the sunshine (which we weren't supposed to be having today).  Hooray!
