Roots

This week has been a good week for getting into the garden after work. 30 - 45 minutes after I get home, stop to get and eat dinner, then back for an hour or so.

Having had most of the trees taken out, I now have to get the roots out so that a rotovator stands a chance of being able to to do something without getting broken.

I have pulled out a lot of bramble and tree roots, this is one of the larger ones, up against a digging fork for scale. After a good week (out all 5 evenings) I have cleared about half of one side where I will be having a lawn. That's about a tenth of the garden.

Next weeks forecast isn't as good.

My neighbours on both sides have been very pleased with the changes in the garden, even though it is now one large mud patch!
