A Flower Isn't Always A Flower

Well, heck, sure it is.  It's just that every year I forget that once in a while during the late parts of July and August a Grizzly prickly pear cactus will pop one out.  It's a pretty cactus, anyway, but the little flowers make it even more special.

Not much going on around here the last several days (even the last couple of weeks).  I watched much of the doom and gloom Republican Convention for four days last week - and the inspiring Democratic Convention for these past four.  Lots of political viewing and analysis in between.  Too few days out of the house away from the idiot box.

As I write, there are 99 days before our election day.  Many of us in Arizona are registered on the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) and will begin voting the first of October. 

It's cRaZy here, with Putin interjecting himself into the election, ostensibly favoring DJT.  First it was hacking the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Next, it was hacking the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and now, the Clinton campaign itself.  Heck, the Russians probably have MY address, phone number and credit card information since I've donated to all three!

Whew!  What an insane time.

Ninety-nine bottles of beer on the wall, ninety-nine bottles of beer.  You take one down and pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall...
