Summer Romance

Apologies for another picture of a sunflower but I couldn't resist it - another from my allotment.  I spent the morning there cutting back the tomatoes and sowing some more beetroot, along with kale and broccoli for harvesting in the winter and next spring (if they grow!).  It was very peaceful and after my long session up there yesterday, I was able to take my time and even found time to relax on the new bench - from where I have a view across the fields to the woodland which grows on Selbourne Hanger.  I think it will be a good place to sit in the winter to watch the birds and have a cup of tea.  Hoping to spend the afternoon relaxing.  Thanks for all your kind comments on my blips.
