Wet feet!

We enjoyed our 'lazy day' ...... well deserved we thought after all the jobs we've tackled this week!

The weather didn't look very promising this afternoon .... so we decided to take a trip to RSPB Frampton Marsh ....... you are usually sure of plenty of things to see!

The place was teeming with all manner of water birds ...... including Dunlin, Avocet, Egret (Extra), Geese, Swans with cygnets & Lapwing. There were also lots of Black-tailed Godwit (top photo) ...... they were making quite a racket & chasing each other around! :-)

Bottom photo: ????? Help needed ..... we are struggling to identify it ...... anybody out there know which wader it is please? Now identified as a Curlew Sandpiper!
