Monday: Photoshoot

It was British Columbia Day today so a public holiday for me. It was nice to have a three day weekend so soon after arriving.

We had a leisurely start to the day, followed by a walk round Queen Elizabeth Park, a beautifully maintained former quarry in the city. The flowers were just lovely but I was rather taken by this statue, entitled 'Photoshoot'.

Virginia and Eric came over this evening for a drink in the garden and dinner locally. A most pleasant evening was had - we also discovered the bowls club on the way home. Who knows - we may even be tempted.......
