Crashed out

JJ and I had a long detour to get to the country park this morning but it was worth it.  The road menders (technical term) seem to be out in force now the school's are on holiday.

Before breakfast I nipped into the garden to put some bird food on the floor for the blackbirds and dunnocks and this chap landed on the arm of the bird feeder.  The camera wasn't far from hand and he stayed around whilst I took a few pictures, but being as vertically challenged as I am this one gave the impression of a crash landing which I preferred to my extra.  I am not sure whether it's a darter or dragonfly, but it's something like that.
