Jen's Watch

"Jen," which appears on the outside case of this pocket watch, was the real name of the woman that my wife always knew as great aunt Daisy. This remarkable timepiece dates from 1890 and is presently worn by Norma as a decorative pendant on its accompanying gold chain. The movement itself is awaiting funds for overhaul and restoration but remarkably (we are assured by our jeweller) the elaborate patterning on the solid 14 carat gold case is a one off hand engraving.
