Homeward bound

A swim and a quick visit to our favourite vintner in Beziers for stocking up our Ardechoise cellar then after lunch of towards home. 
This ruined abbey was being set up for some theatrical event but otherwise was in the middle of nowhere on the coastal plain.
A brief but as ever expensive visit to the Montpellier Ikea and then a less expensive trawl of the shelves of the St Ambroix Lidl before we reached the relatively cool haven of Sablieres - ten degrees centigrade cooler than Ales down in the valley.
Most plants seem to have survived our absence although our neighbour is gloom and doom about the amount of water left. Still he often is.....
