In the pink

I'm a bit early for Flower Friday but I saw the sun out and dashed into the garden for this!

I will be travelling tomorrow in any case, flying over to Glasgow for an erstwhile school friend's birthday party. We were born in 1958 so will be 58 this year, and Jill's birthday is on the 5th of the 8th, so that was her rationale for a party! Sounds good to me.

I'm also planning a wee side trip into Edinburgh tomorrow morning to catch up with my son-in-law's parents, who have returned from a four-year stint in Kathmandu, where they were supporting missionaries. They are a wonderfully fit couple - must be all that yomping up the Himalayas!

It will be a really lovely Friday for me!
