South West Coastal Path

Today we set off with our host Marian for a lovely walk along the coastal path. We were able to walk out of her house, across the common, through some woods and then to the path which gave fabulous views towards Purbeck. It was a circular walk, so we were able to call in at a pub for some refreshing bitter before continuing back. It was a sunny day, with a light breeze - perfect walking weather. My toe managed the 7 miles fine though I did take the Ibruprofen before setting out.

We read our books in the garden after and might have dozed off.

France tomorrow - we won't arrive at our house till about 1.30 am as Mr C insisted on the cheap ferry.
