Pure Fiction
Strange signs appeared at the back of the Civic today, areas were cordoned off, and technical people were doing things. It was a film set.
For the last two or so years the adjacent vacant St Ambrose Barlow RC school has been occupied by the BBC, who use it to film a CBBC/BBC HD show - the 4 o'clock Club. Yes, I've not heard of it either. I looked it up on Google today. It seems to be a kiddies soap, with added rapping.
So the back of the Civic becomes a Hospital, for the storyline which was being filmed. This part of the Civic is utilitarian in style - to be kind. Later on in the day I blipped Fred Done's office block under construction at St Peter's Square - there are some similarities (extra).
And I quite liked the whitening going on at Roe Green cricket club in the morning -which involved much concentration. A greener part of the day.
