Why don't we go to Derbyshire and the Peak District more often ?

Well, I know why - life gets in the way.

A brilliant circular walk in weather that felt remarkably like summer should feel. Our legs are tired out - in fact, we are tired out. But a really good day.

I love the scenery in the White Peak, the limestone shines on a day like today. Dovedale is popular, but with good reason. We started in Hartington, walked through Narrowdale and then a refreshment stop at The George at Alstonefield, and then returned via Gypsy Bank and Dovedale. We should not leave it another 9 years before we return.
