Vanessa?

Today's the day ........................ to identify

I'm really hoping someone knowledgeable out there can tell me the name of this butterfly.

It was in our garden briefly today - just long enough for me to rush in, get my camera and snap it.  I've looked up my butterfly book and (in my opinion) the closest one to it is Vanessa indica vulcania  or the Indian Red Admiral.  But seeing as it says you only get them in Tenerife in the Canary Islands - I doubt it's one of those.

It's probably just a common or garden Red Admiral that's slightly doing its own thing .........................
