Bärental

Dry day, but still overcast and fairly cold. Good lie in and only leaving at 11am still wearing a fleece and a raincoat. Hiking from Glaris Ortolfi to Bärentaleralp, 600 m altitude through a wild, romantic and pristine valley. We did not see any other person for the first 3 hours on our hike. The name of the valley and the alp derives from the fact, that the last bear was shot here.

From there further up to Chummeralp and finally down to Stafelap. Kaffee Chrüter (coffee with herb liquor) and an apple pie was well deserved I believe :)

Back down to Davos Frauenkirch, arriving at home at 5pm. Vegetable (red) curry for dinner to warm us up. Summer will be back tomorrow - we hope.
