The Canwell Show

We had no expectations for the day.  A visit to see Mum and then we were planning a walk.  It was happenstance that we should drive passed a sign proclaiming the Canwell Show was on today.  

We decided to head in that direction, parked up and subsequently enjoyed over 4 hours of good old fashioned entertainment.  The show was a great throwback of country life; livestock being paraded, show jumping, stalls, a parade of old tractors (including a Porsche!) and just before we left this carriage driving scurry.

The frustrating thing for me is that the night before, I went on to the internet to find out what was going on near us today.  I found nothing to suggest the show was taking place, nor the local carnival that took place in our local town.  We expect the internet to be a font of all knowledge and it only goes to prove it doesn't always deliver.
