A real snorter frost this morning - it was predicted to be -8 deg, not sure if it was or not.  But -6deg tonight.

While Doug cooked scrambled eggs for breakfast (a Sunday tradition) I went outside (very briefly) and took half a dozen photos of Mr J. Frost.  Some of clover, some of the rhodo but specially liked this one with the blue of the cornflower.

Packed my case today, weighed and comes in at 15 kg.  We sorted out paper stuff;  maps, notes, photocopied important bits (passports/insurance), googled airlines to see about hand luggage requirements - there lies a bit of a problem!!!

Spoke to our friends this morning - he is feeling pretty good now, and is happy with their decision not to travel.  We are too.  Message from the bride last night, she is excited and can't wait to see us again (me too).

Facetime with Lexi this morning....what a smiler she is.
