Those Olympic Gods!

Some is going to get hurt if the Olympic Gods don't settle down.!
Not content with throwing a javelin into Canary Wharf, this shot put landed at Westminster.

A fairly quiet day in terms of numbers of athletes today. But sometimes it's quality over quantity. Today I met Maria Mutola, possibly the greatest middle distance woman the world has ever seen.
We are being given pin badges during the Games: bronze silver and gold, and a special gift on our last shift.
After my shift I walked over Westminster Bridge and was gobsmacked by the Olympic images being projected onto the Palace of Westminster.
This morning I was on Radio Lancashire talking about my experiences.
I am writing this at 7.30 Saturday morning as I make my way to the stadium. I have a free ticket. I am surrounded by excited school students on their way too. Face paints are the order of the day, along with flags
