Olympic History.
Oscar Pistorious made history today by becoming the first amputee to compete in the Olympics.
I was lucky enough to be in the crowd.
Not the greatest photo ever but the story is one of them.
Jessica Ennis was going great in the Heptathlon. Jason Bolt was not as fast as two Americans. First one, then a second, set records for the fastest ever first round times.
Adam Gemili was second in his heat. That was my performance of the morning.
Initially we had seats in the media area but were moved when the 100m heats started.
That could have been a disappointment but I discovered just how far my accreditation gets me today and ended up watching from the side of the track.
Tonight I'm off to Hyde Park to watch on the big screen. I also met the very proud father of one if our water polo team, and a young lad who is carrying the medals at the medal ceremonies. Now that is a cool gig :)
So where were you for the Gold Rush?
I was in the Olympic Park when the afternoon medals were won.
This evening was a mixed bag. Realising I wasn't going to get to Hyde Park to see Jessica Ennis, and that the tube was about to go below ground I got off at Earls Court and watched on my phone with 15 others gathered around me. Worth a blip on its own. I missed Greg Rutherford because I was on the tube to see Mo.
I got to Hyde Park to see Mo Farah take Gold in the 10,000 metres.
Honestly, where will it all stop?
There is such a buzz in London
