After a substantial breakfast we walked back down to town, picking up the instruments on the way (since the car was parked safely it seemed better to leave well alone). We set up in the Kennaway and had a wee run through, before being joined by our old pal Tymon Dogg who did a wonderful set in the afternoon session. Some of the audience appeared quite nervous and a few left the venue - well, he never was easy listening! :-) We followed on with our set and then after packing up went for a proper sit-down fish and chip supper. The contrast in service (quality and speed) compared with last night couldn't have been more extreme. Then we went along to the Ham marquee where we saw another old pal, Robin Dransfield, do a set with accompaniment from his two sons, followed by the Oysters three who were splendid. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to speak to Mr T and berate him on the subject of his execrable tartan trews.

It was all the way back to the accommodation with the instruments, since by the time we passed it the lock-up was closed. Over 13000 steps again!
