Muker, Upper Swaledale, Yorkshire Dales

In complete contrast to yesterday, today's weather feels autumnal. It is extremely blustery, the wind tearing down leaves and branches from trees, in full leaf. Dry though. After a morning gardening and stacking fire wood we walked from Gunnerside to Muker and back.  The oyster catchers and swifts have gone, but we saw a handful of sand martins, and a huge flock of Martins and swallows.
