Same old, same old ?

Istanbul. The Asian side across the beautiful blue Bosphorus, as seen from the edge of the 'Plateau' running track on college campus this afternoon when I went out for a stroll, searching for a breeze.  Kipper (see yesterday) came too, so I made very slow progress as he kept wanting to rest. The view certainly looks the same as it did a few weeks ago.  Whether or not Istanbul feels the same, well, time will tell.  Turks are tenacious and resilient and generally optimistic. I admire them for that.   BBC news

31ºC and 80% humidity apparently.  Feels like much more.
