Baddeck sailing

These sailboats are on the Bras D'oro Lake at Baddeck, Cape Breton.  Had a long walk down by the lake after riding for 7 hours.   Our hotel is on a hill overlooking the lake but there are trees in the way from our porch.  I hope to catch the sunrise in the morning as we are facing east!   

Tomorrow we drive the Cabot Trail which takes us along the northern edge of Cape Breton.  A long ride with many stops at scenic overlooks and a picnic at a park along the way.

In the extras are a few other photos from the drive.  Cape Breton is not flat and reminds me very much of the rolling hills in North Carolina and Virginia.
