Westminster in Olympic mood

Back blip

A day out in London prior to our Olympic visit. It was wonderful seeing all the extra bits and pieces everywhere celebrating London 2012. This House of Flags has been created on Parliament Square by AY Architects. It contains the flags of all the participating countries in the London 2012 games.

Everyone (including us) was hunting down their own flags and posing for photographs. It made for a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed Trafalgar Square with its interesting head gear on the statues. It made for a great warm up to the Olympics on the next day
