T is for Thistle (Welted)

The weather has been unexpectedly gorgeous the past few days. After a busy week I had planned to spend the day on the sofa watching the Olympics, but the weather was just too nice to stay in indoors today. So this morning I took an impromptu bike ride to Wylam. I love this shot, because I took one like it a couple of weeks ago but couldn't use it because I needed a J that day. It's the pollen on the bee I really like. He's covered in it, and couldn't care less, because he has a job to do! What a busy little bee.
