Happy birthday youngest brother. Xx

Today we've had a lazy day. We've just lounged around the pool, apartment and done nothing. It's been lovely.

I've thought about loved ones not far away who have a birthday today. I've thought about loved ones not here today who would have wished loved ones with a birthday today a happy birthday.

I've thought abought friends today who also have loved ones not here any more who also have a birthday today.

This doesn't make it a sad day it makes it a day we remember those important to us whether they are here or not.

So, we've carried on, sent birthday greetings, had a swim, been out for tea on the lovely little road train, found a lovely bar and partaken in cocktails.

It's been a pleasant day. And a little blackbird is now chirping at me to shush!!
