After going back for the scooter after fifty metres it still took us about 2½ hours to get to the shop and back via the park, though he seemed happy to do his own scooter-pushing when he wasn't riding it. Turning is still not yet happening, but he can almost push himself. It was so late when we got back there was barely time for me to scootle out to a different shop with his brother, stopping at a different park on the way back.
