Anniversary

5 years.

It was 5 years ago today that Susie and I got married. Unbelievable really as it feels like just yesterday when we were stood in the chapel at Murthly Castle, giddy with a mixture of nervous excitement and overwhelming emotion.

But here we are 5 years and 2 amazing children later, getting ready for our celebratory dinner. There have been highs and lows and everything in between but I wouldn't change a thing. It's been amazing and this is only just the start. I'm very lucky.

Today has been great already. Finlay and I had a nice bike ride through the Hermitage then we went to Loopy Lorna's for lunch. Tonight we're off out to the apartment for a bite to eat and a bit of fizz then tomorrow we're off car shopping. It's all go.

This image is of the gift I got Susie. It's a frame containing an original invitation from our wedding, the copper printing plate for the invite and the knife we used to cut our cake. Some nice reminders of a wonderful day.
