What A Day At AOG!

Early this morning, a review of the PNW Stadium security cameras revealed a member of Team Squirrel raiding the suet feeder in the small bird arena.  Evidence in hand, plans were being made for an official sanction when it was discovered that much of the damage heretofore attributed to squirrels was in fact being done by blue jays.  See Extra for another poor quality security picture.  (Has there ever been, anywhere, at any time in the history of photography, cinematography or film, a good quality security camera picture?)  Sorry.
 
Anyway, there is no Pacific Northwest Team Blue Jay at this year’s AOG so, clearly, they are interlopers taking advantage of free food and apparently getting some pleasure out of the fact that their bad behavior is being blamed on the squirrels.  Team Squirrel, however, is not completely off the hook but fair is fair, and so they were not sanctioned.  With this revelation, the entire Team Squirrel looked relieved and promised to do better.  The visiting Team Captain from New Jersey was seen running like all get-out for the airport, anxious to get home.
