Well it also takes boundless energy, drive and self-confidence.
 
This cushion is part of a whole series designed by textile artist Nikki McWilliams who hit on the idea of making cushions based on biscuits. Yes, that’s right. Biscuits.
 
And she has not looked back.
 
Today Nikki has a huge social media following, over 41,000, sells through out the UK and online- and operates from a small workshop in Alloa.
 
Kay from the Makers gallery and bistro is holding one of the cushions based on the famous Tunnock teacake, which I have just bought for my niece who has recently moved house.
