Neustra casa es su casa

Literally. Today, after many weeks of tidying, moving and throwing out the house where my mother in law has lived for 30 years passed on to the new owners.

It's been a testing time, especially with mother in law currently in hospital but many family items have had to be dispersed or, despite the family memories, got rid of.

In one of these odd descriptions the house has been known as a bungalow. But a bungalow with an attic and a cellar! Still, it's been a good home for 3 decades but is became too big. And many of the contents being kept for sorting now adorn our hall, living room, dining room etc etc!

So this morning I went early for one last view while technically it still belonged to the family As with the house I grew up in, I will no doubt pass it by in the future and it will evoke many happy memories of family gatherings.
