Magnolia ?

Yes. It's a Magnolia.
It's in my garden.
And it's August.

I fell in love with this Magnolia when I first saw and put in an offer for this house.  That was in March 2009. I've blipped it regularly throughout each Spring. One year, there were suggestions of a second bloom.

But this year it's in full second flowering, albeit hidden at the top of the tree so I had to take the photo from the spare bedroom.
