Parish Walking Group

Saturday 13th August 2016 (1449)

I had been a bit concerned about the amount of rain we'd had this week as I knew that Dean Wood can become very muddy. There was certainly more mud than when I walked it last Sunday and in parts it was a bit tricky for some of the group. Still, we survived without anyone slipping off the path! This is the same bridge as last Sunday, from the opposite side. 

We added a short circuit around Abbey Lakes at the end of the walk as we finished quite early. It was then off to the pub for lunch. The weather was perfect for walking. 

Now I've got to find another walk for next time but at least I have a few weeks to do that.
