Shhhh

OK this is not the sort of exotic Far East type picture you were waiting for. But just up from an excellent sleep at the Crowne Plaza Singapore. In a while I will go back into the airport and find my flight for Kuching.

Now you might think this is the noisiest hotel room in the world! Not a sound! As soon as you step into the corridor which - in the style of Singapore - has large gulleys and openings to the outside world - the jet sound is deafening. That must be quadruple glazing inside.

Air France - charming crew and of course excellent food! But overall the facilities when you turn left don't match for example Emirates. And poor entertainment system. However just had a text from a fellow examiner to say that BA011 didn't fly last night - technical problem. AF on the other hand was early.
