They make her giddy

Saturday was exactly what these girls needed.  A whole day together...and we got to stay home.  The mailman brought Sugar a present....her new school tennis shoes. She LOVES them.  They put such a spring in her step.  It just might make having to start school in two weeks not seem so awful.  

We cherished our time together. I tried to do some reading aloud from the Harry Potter book we are reading together, but fairly quickly I realized Sugar had fallen asleep.  I can not even remember a time she has fallen asleep in the middle of the day since she was very small...or sick.  Hoping it was just being tired from camp....and she is not getting sick.

Our nap this afternoon....is keeping us awake.  Maybe I should run and read us some more Harry Potter.

PS.  So excited to be alllll caught up.
