Shucking Whitstable oysters
Another trip to Whitstable today with friends Stella and Paul and Doreen. A pleasant pint at Tankerton and a picnic lunch followed by a stroll around the busy harbour and seafront of this increasingly popular seaside town.
Lots of interesting blips to contemplate today, harbour scenes and the like but Whitstable is famous for its oysters so it seemed best to capture the essence of the place with these two shucking oysters for a never ending queue of people.
A grey, cool day gave way to warm sunshine at the end of the afternoon, rounding off a very pleasant day.
