View from a hill

With the Edinburgh Festivals now in full swing & hordes of visitors enjoying everything from comedy to cabaret and dance to our digital future, sometimes you need a place to retreat to prevent festival fatigue

The city as well as being renowned for its historical haunts & literary greats - is surround by 7 hills and outstanding natural beauty to help escape the maddening crowds.

This morning I went running into the Braid Hills (one of my favourite places) to do just that and take in the stunning views from the top.
