Tiny Tuesday - feather

I had given up on the idea of getting a macro blip today so went to sit in the sun on the deck. Right before my eyes, this wee feather floated down to land beside me. Just 3cm long and with spots evident on the end, I think it must have come from a thrush - I cant think of anything else with spots.

No sign of the donor, but I couldn't ignore a gift from the gods so here is my Tiny Tuesday blip.
