Fat Bikes on Snow

The Boss (from Tussock Tales) and I headed for another day at the Snow Farm.  I walked to Meadow Hut, where I had my lunch.  It was overcast in the morning, and cleared in the afternoon.  When we left the Base Building it was +5C.  It's getting a bit warm!!  There were a few people enjoying the snow, apart from the bikes there were skiers, dog teams, ski touring, snow shoeing, along with a few dogs and their owners.  A super day to be out and about.  But we need a few more cold days to keep the snow on the trails.

The extra photo is of a small lady heading away from the hut with a very heavy pack on her back.  I felt very sorry for her.

Last night the quizz evening was a huge success, our team did pretty well, and we had a few brain teasers to keep us on our toes.
