2016 Monday -- Friends

So fun to see Bob, Cheryl, Tim, and Joy here in Cayucos today. They had spent the weekend in Monterey and gone to the Bay Aquarium, and then stopped here so we could all have lunch together.

We enjoyed spending a week with them at Campus By the Sea Family Camp on Catalina Island last summer.

We've known Cheryl & Bob since she was a college student. For years we all went to the same church. We've watched their two kids grow up and now their daughter, Joy, is going to begin teaching math at the same college where I teach English.

We enjoyed a fun lunch with them today. This evening they were going to be in Atascadero to have dinner with a niece and nephew, and then they were headed home to SoCal.

These are forever friends!
