Fringe Monday

Spent today at the Fringe;

Robert Adam: Architect of Enlightenment - "an entertaining and enlightening encounter with the Adam Family – father William and brothers Robert, John and James – pillars of Scotland and England's architectural heritage. The story of the Adam Family in words illustrated by a selection of glorious images from the National Archive."

Teatro Delusio - "All the world's a stage... Three actors, 29 characters, no words and loads of laughs. Following last year's sell-out hit Hotel Paradiso, the world's leading theatre mask specialist is back with a comedy set behind the scenes of theatrical illusion. In the darkness of the backstage the technicians battle their own great tragedies of life, death, love and defeat revealing their rivalries, ambitions and poignant dreams. Teatro Delusio reminds us that theatre doesn't end when the curtain drops."

Ada/Ava by Manual Cinema - "Manual Cinema uses hundreds of shadow puppets, overhead projectors, actors and live music to tell a story of the fantastic and supernatural. Bereaved of her twin sister Ava, septuagenarian Ada solitarily marks time in the patterns of a life built for two. A traveling carnival and a trip to a mirror maze plunge her into a journey across the thresholds of life and death."

Worbey and Farrell's Rhapsody - "In this brand new show following sell-outs in 2013, 2014 and 2015, the internationally acclaimed duo bring their unique touch to the world's greatest music. Expect exhilarating rhapsodies, beguiling boogie-woogies and sensational piano-playing. From Liszt to Jools Holland, from Queen to Gershwin, the ingenuity of these amazing musicians makes you laugh one moment and takes your breath away the next"

Followed by wonderful Korean food at Sodaeng.
