Free Pears

On my morning walk, I spotted FREE PEARS being advertised on a moveable blackboard at the edge of a driveway, so I had to investigate the box and note on it.  The note said, "These pears will ripen in a few days in a brown paper bag.  Bags are limited so if you have your own - that's great.  Enjoy, Zelly   Come back for more - these are really good."  The pears in the box looked great!  I love the idea of people sharing excess produce - for free.  G had come home yesterday with a bag of pears he'd picked for free, so I didn't take advantage of these ones.
