Pool

Took ourselves to the pool this morning to help fight the heat. Sebastien has started kicking when we hold him horizontally...causing more splashing than forward movement, but it sure is fun.

Rick started a thing several months ago where we review the events of the day with Sebastien as we're going to bed. We sing (to the tune of Frere Jacques) "Goodnight Sebastien, Goodnight Sebastien. We had fun. We had fun..."and then we fill in with things we did that day. We suggest about half the things and Sebbie suggests the rest.

Sometimes the things he regards as memorable are pretty funny. Like tonight, whensomething like going to the pool was overlooked, but he kept repeating, "And stomping our feet on the stairs," as if it were the highlight of the day. I have to admit, I barely remembered he had done that!
