Sport of Kings

Visited the town of Battle today to find out about The Battle of Hastings-1066 and all that.
Had three boys with us, all of various ages, they had a great time, with the birds of prey being very popular. This is a Kestral, just landing for a wee snack. They also enjoyed climbering up and down The Abbey stairs, and the views of the battlefield-which has sat relatively undisturbed for nearly 1000 years.
