Purple Heather

Another breezy day, but another lovely sunny day and warm too.

I've been working down in the museum today.  With the school bairns going back to school today, and a sunny day, I thought we were going to be quiet, not quite!  It's been a steady day of visitors coming and going and also had a monthly club in too.  Mad rush to get home, grab a bite to eat and then off to the pub for my shift.  A steady night and finished early.  Been out this evening for walkies and now on the sofa :)

Met mam at lunchtime and we sat out enjoying a sandwich in the sun.  We went for a peerie walk along the road too.  The colours have been stunning today, the grasses are bright green, lovely blue skies and then the purple heather.  The colours have been great this past few days, not sure if it's the wet weather and then the sunshine but whatever it is, looking good :)  Taken near the Greenhead, Lerwick.
